Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Just what is this going to cost?
Our rates are lower than industry standards. This is acheived because of our extremely low costs of overhead. The fact that we have our own office in India and do not contract through any third-party vendors (middle-men) enables us to offer wholesale prices directly to our clients. This puts us in the unique position of being both the high-quality provider and the low-cost provider to the marketplace.
Please contact us to schedule a time to discuss your costs more precisely.
Is there a volume-discount?
Teams of three or more employees receive a 10% reduction in price from our individual employee rates. Most of our clients either start with a small team of employees, or plan to grow a team over time. We recommend team sizes of three to five employees. These team sizes inspire a synergy that maximizes your Return on Investment (ROI) by working together without getting too many hands in the pot. If your development window (time table) needs a faster deployment than what three to five developers can accomplish, we recommend splitting the project into various components to share between several teams.
Why Outsource?
The ability of enterprises to quickly adapt to dynamic markets has become imperative for staying ahead in an ever-increasing competitive landscape. Lowering and transforming costs from fixed to variable, as well as shortening time-to-market has become one of the key challenges faced by business executives today.
Over the last decade, offshore Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) have emerged as two of the most powerful and efficient strategies used by corporate decision makers to meet these challenges. The softening global economy is only accelerating a process that was already in place... established software suppliers will feel a renewed push toward "belt tightening" in conjunction with the ongoing competitive pressure to get product out quickly. Many of those that were "on the fence" regarding outsourcing will be faced with a zero degrees of freedom problem - they will need to outsource to survive.
Why India?
We are a US-owned and operated company. We built our outsourcing model before deciding to which country we would travel to open our development office. We conducted considerable research into each of the existing and emerging offshore leaders. We decided upon India.
India continues to offer the most thorough business process outsourcing services by a wide margin. The primary factors that excelled India to the forefront are:
| India has the largest pool of cost-efficient, English-speaking talent. | |||
| Extremely stable telephone and data transfer infrastructure. | |||
| Highly-educated and motivated population. | |||
| Strong flexibility of resources, process development, and organizational maturity. | |||
| Governmental support and encouragement towards outsourcing. |
Business Process Outsourcing in India has seen an enormous growth this past decade, with some estimates indicating a 1300% increase in revenues for the IT sector alone since the year 2000.
We continue to guage the pulse of global offshoring and plan to expand into other countries one day... but their time, simply, has not yet come.
Why choose WitSource?
Because you want to succeed. Offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) can be risky and full of unpredictable challenges. Large outsource providers generally won't deal with small to medium-sized clients, and they certainly don't provide the level of attention and support that those clients need. The market is saturated with small offshore providers - but many are just looking to turn a quick profit - and they end up leaving their client's needs unfulfilled. These companies give "outsourcing" a bad name.
Unlike typical outsourcing organizations, WitSource is the perfect size to provide personalized attention to each client. We work closely with our clients to understand their goals and develop the best solutions for acheiving their needs. Our business strategy was conceived in the US, prior to opening our offshore offices. The result is a corporate culture that prioritizes individual client needs and business ethics at the highest level. Additionally, the fact that we are US-owned and operated removes many of the inherent risks of outsourcing.
